I have a 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix, I am having temperature light problems, as the temperature gauge stopped working so I replaced it. Now even though the Gauge works, the temperature light still flashes and the motor runs rough, The coolant and everything is good. I burped all the air out of the lines. IS there something else I can do that I haven't done already?
A message often includes text from two or more messages exchanged inprevious rounds of a long discussion. If an additional quotation markeris inserted at every round, without removing any existing markers, thenumber of markers at the beginning of each line will show the "level"of the reply, that is, how many rounds have occurred since that linewas written. These accumulated markers are usually sufficient todistinguish the parts that came from each message. Some emailinterfaces recognize this convention and automatically render eachlevel in a different color. For example:

Quoting previous messages

In an e-mail reply, it is sometimes appropriate to include a full or partial copy of the original message that is being replied to. As opposed to in-person conversations and Internet chats, email responses may be received long after the original message was sent, so the original sender may have forgotten, misplaced or deleted the original. Many email reading programs (mail user agents) encourage this behavior by automatically including a copy of the original message in the reply editing window.
The US is one of the world's largest markets for wildlife andwildlife products. High-volume 'live' traffic includes exotic reptiles, tropical fish, and primates. Manufactured products (such as boots, shoes, purses, jewelry, caviar, and meats) and less 'processed'wildlife items (such as hunting trophies, feathers, furs, skins, rawcoral, and shells) are also common. Wildlife inspectors enforce a rangeof US and international laws, regulations, and treaties that protectwildlife and limit commercial traffic in endangered animals and plants.
They also have pretty high towing mileage. It has a service that covers the vehicle no matter who is driving. This is good for a family that has more members than cars. It is pretty affordable to cover the cars rather than an individual person.I think it is up to 75 miles. just visit http://bestroadsideservice.com/

Dangerous Shoes

I see alot of kids wearing these shoes...

By SARAH KARUSH, Associated Press Writer 1 hour, 41 minutes ago

WASHINGTON - At rail stations and shopping malls around the world, reports are popping up of people, particularly young children, getting their toes caught in escalators. The one common theme seems to be the clunky soft-soled clogs known by the name of the most popular brand, Crocs.

One of the nation's largest subway systems — the Washington Metro — has even posted ads warning riders about wearing such shoes on its moving stairways. The ads feature a photo of a crocodile, though they don't mention Crocs by name.Four-year-old Rory McDermott got a Croc-clad foot caught in an escalator last month at a mall in northern Virginia. His mother managed to yank him free, but the nail on his big toe was almost completely ripped off, causing heavy bleeding.

At first, Rory's mother had no idea what caused the boy's foot to get caught. It was only later, when someone at the hospital remarked on Rory's shoes, that she began to suspect the Crocs and did an Internet search.

"I came home and typed in 'Croc' and 'escalator,' and all these stories came up," said Jodi McDermott, of Vienna, Va. "If I had known, those would never have been worn."

According to reports appearing across the United States and as far away as Singapore and Japan, entrapments occur because of two of the biggest selling points of shoes like Crocs: their flexibility and grip. Some report the shoes get caught in the "teeth" at the bottom or top of the escalator, or in the crack between the steps and the side of the escalator.

The reports of serious injuries have all involved young children. Crocs are commonly worn by children as young as 2. The company introduced shoes in its smallest size, 4/5, this past spring.

Niwot, Colo.-based Crocs Inc. said it does not keep records of the reasons for customer-service calls. But the company said it is aware of "very few" problems relating to accidents involving the shoes, which are made of a soft, synthetic resin.

"Thankfully, escalator accidents like the one in Virginia are rare," the company said in a statement.

In Japan, the government warned consumers last week that it has received 39 reports of sandals — mostly Crocs or similar products — getting stuck in escalators from late August through early September. Most of the reports appear to have involved small children, some as young as two years old.

Kazuo Motoya of Japan's National Institute of Technology and Evaluation said children may have more escalator accidents in part because they "bounce around when they stand on escalators, instead of watching where they place their feet."

In Singapore, a 2-year-old girl wearing rubber clogs — it's unclear what brand — had her big toe completely ripped off in an escalator accident last year, according to local media reports.

And at the Atlanta airport, a 3-year-old boy wearing Crocs suffered a deep gash across the top of his toes in June. That was one of seven shoe entrapments at the airport since May 1, and all but two of them involved Crocs, said Roy Springer, operations manager for the company that runs the airport terminal.

One U.S. retailer that caters to children, Mattel subsidiary American Girl, has posted signs in three locations directing customers wearing Crocs or flip-flop sandals to use elevators instead of escalators.

During the past two years, so-called "shoe entrapments" in the Washington subway have gone from being relatively rare to happening four or five times a week in the summer, though none has caused serious injuries, said Dave Lacosse, who oversees the subway's 588 escalators, the most of any U.S. transit system.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said escalator accidents caused more than 10,000 injuries last year, but the agency has few records of specific shoe problems. Only two shoe entrapments have been reported by consumers since the beginning of 2006. One reported in May involved "rubber footwear."

Agency spokesman Ed Kang urged people who have had problems to report them on the commission's Web site.

Crocs officials said they were working with the Elevator Escalator Safety Foundation on public education initiatives. But the group's executive director, Barbara Allen, said that's not true.

Allen said a Crocs official called her in September 2006 about possible cooperation, even suggesting the company might put a tag in its shoes with the foundation's Web address. But since that first contact, Crocs has not called, and nobody from the company will return Allen's calls, she said.

Washington Metro's Lacosse and other escalator experts say the best way to prevent shoe entrapments is to face the direction the stairs are moving, keep feet away from the sides and step over the teeth at the end.

Lacosse, of the Washington subway system, said he is personally skittish of Crocs and other soft-soled shoes. "Would I wear them? No," he said. "And I tell my children not to wear them either."

Paying It Forward

Coffee shop customers keep paying for next person

By Debra Skodack • McClatchy Newspapers • July 19, 2009

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — At 8:05 a.m. on July 6, a 32-year-old mother of two pulled up to the Steamin’ Bean drive-through window and did something nice for someone else. She paid $3.50 for the 16-ounce latte ordered by the customer in the car behind her. When that stranger learned about the act of kindness, she did the same thing for the next customer. And so it went has gone for 12 days and counting at the Blue Springs, Mo., coffee shop. As of Friday, more than 1,450 customers have essentially said: Thanks for the free cup of joe, but I’d like to pay for it and give a free cup to the next guy.

“It’s taken on a life of its own,” said Garin Bledsoe, who owns Steamin’ Bean with his wife, Anne, and partner Lenny Blue. “We tell people that their cup of coffee has been paid for and they go, ‘What? Really? Wow.’ ”And then they pass the kindness on.

“I just didn’t do it for the attention,” the Grain Valley, Mo., woman who started it all said. “Actually, I did it because I knew I was going to have a busy week at work and I thought that, ‘Well, you never know what their day will be like.’”

The woman, who does not want her name used, gives through her church and her favorite charities. And she likes to assist in small ways, like helping someone carry grocery bags.

“It’s nothing I would think about being a big deal,” she said of paying the tab for a stranger.

But it has become exactly that.

“That first day, well, we got to 12, and then it got to 20, and by the time I left we were at 20 to 30 deep,” Bledsoe said. “It took off quick.”

Customers have even donated more than $600 extra, just to make sure the chain keeps going.

Since only a couple of customers have taken free coffee, there are more than enough donations. Bledsoe has given $200 to nearby restaurants in hopes of starting chains there.

And Thursday night, he took some money to a nearby Price Chopper food store. He gave $10 to a grateful woman buying school supplies for her son. He tried to help a man pay for groceries.

“He didn’t want it and then asked if he could give me $10 — and he did,” said Bledsoe.

Perhaps, Bledsoe said, people want to feel good during the recession.

Kyle Christian, who entered the shop Friday for some hot white chocolate, said he isn’t surprised by people’s generosity. He saw firsthand the bigness of people’s hearts when collecting food donations last spring in Columbia, Mo.

The 19-year-old incoming sophomore at Columbia College was helping to supply food to school-age children who were on spring break and normally would have taken part in school free-lunch programs.

“We collected more food than we needed,” Christian said. “It was amazing.

“It’s like if you can help someone, it goes on and on. It has a snowball effect. You think ... ‘How can I make a person’s day?’”

Jennifer Kincaid, who lives in Lake Tapawingo, Mo., said it has been interesting to watch the effort grow each time she has stopped by the shop. “I’m sure that lady is surprised to see how far it has gone,” Kincaid said.

She is.

“I heard about it the next day and I was crying,” the Grain Valley woman said.

She is quick to deflect any recognition.

“I just paid $3 for a cup of coffee,” she said. “It has been everyone else.”

The wet sputters!

I have a 98 Nissan Frontier, 2 wheel drive, 2.4L with a manual transmission. When ever it is humid outside my truck will sputter when below about 1500 RPMS. It will sputter and miss as I go through the gears and when sitting still and pressing on the gas. It does not matter if I have driven the vehicle in the rain or if it has sat still all day. After about 15 minutes of driving, the problem lessens but does not go away.

When it has not rained, there is no fog, etc. The truck runs fine. I have taken it though the carwash and sprayed the hood and grill area with a hose. I can not reproduce the symptom what-so-ever!

Any help would be great. Thanks in advance!

I-Mockery is a pop culture humor site owned and operated by Roger Barr (aka: -RoG-) that has existed online in various forms since 1996. Before then, it was a printed periodical called Visionary Darkness. Free copies of Visionary Darkness were distributed in local high schools and record shops. It later became a web site on Geocities which housed a variety of humorous articles and rants. Barr also registered other sites on Geocities under several aliases and made them all a part of the Visionary Darkness web site.

Info needed on engine and tranny swap

I have a 1999 GMC Sierra with a 4.8L engine(not sure what the tranny is, it is stock).
Here are my questions:
I'm wondering if a 6L will fit right in, or will some mods be needed, ie computer upgrades etc.?
Are the trannies the same for both engines? If different, will mods be needed to fit the tranny in from the 6L?
These are the 2 major questions I have, there might be more after these get answered.

Reason for this?
I just bought a fifth wheel trailer, and my truck has just enough to pull it. I REALLY need a little more, but don't want to buy a 3/4 ton yet.
I have plans to add airbags to help carry the load.
Please keep in mind that we will only be pulling the trailer about 10 times next year and 2 of those times will be about 3 hours from home.

THANKS

Installation of Audi A4 GPS

I bought an in dash car GPS for my A4. I really like this unit, the functions(HD digital screen+GPS+DVD+TPMS+USB+SD) and brand(World famous). I followed the tutorial given by the tech-man of chinacargps.com. The original version is PDF, but I managed to snap the pictures and made this post. Hopefully you guys can benefit something from it.

I should have bought it with my friends, so that together we can apply for discount from that company in China. Anyhow, I enjoy it so much.

If you car interested in this one. Have a look at Audi A4 GPS

Here is what your original stereo looks like.

1. Pull out the original stereo by four special keys just like cap of the pop can

2. Install the special braket together with the unit.

3. Connect special harness wires

4. Put the unit back to the slot.

When you are playing songs, you can see the names of the track from your small LCD.

In the interests of simplicity-andto keep some consistency in our discussion-we're going to look at whatthe flags mean in terms of sanctioned road racing (not to be confusedwith that inane act of peckerwood measuring that is Friday night streetracing).

Racing Stripes is a 2005 adventure/comedy movie, directed by Frederik Du Chau. It is similar in the style to the 1995 movie Babe, in that the protagonist is a talking animal who lives on a farm and succeeds at an activity not expected of his species. (The animal characters also call Nolan Walsh "the Chief"; the animals of Babe called Arthur Hoggett "the Boss.")

Rapid City Muscle Car

Rapid City Muscle Car is the second studio album by American rock band the Cherry Poppin' Daddies, released in 1994 on the band's own independent label Space Age Bachelor Pad Records. Arguably the group's most musically eclectic album, the sound and style of Rapid City Muscle Car is heavily rooted in psychedelia and psychedelic rock, all while retaining the structure of a concept album.

Grandma

Grandma is eighty-eight years old and still drives her own car. She writes:

Dear Grand-daughter,

The other day I went up to our local Christian book store and saw a 'Honk if you love Jesus' bumper sticker ..

I was feeling particularly sassy that day because I had just come from a thrilling choir performance, followed by a thunderous prayer meeting..

So, I bought the sticker and put it on my bumper.

Boy, am I glad I did; what an uplifting experience that followed.

I was stopped at a red light at a busy intersection, just lost in thought about the Lord and how good he is, and I didn't notice that the light had changed.

It is a good thing someone else loves Jesus because if he hadn't honked, I'd never have noticed.

I found that lots of people love Jesus!

While I was sitting there, the guy behind started honking like crazy, and then he leaned out of his window and screamed, 'For the love of God!'

'Go! Go! Go! Jesus Christ, GO!'

What an exuberant cheerleader he was for Jesus!

Everyone started honking!

I just leaned out my window and started waving and smiling at all those loving people.

I even honked my horn a few times to share in the love!

There must have been a man from Florida back there because I heard him yelling something about a sunny beach..

I saw another guy waving in a funny way with only his middle finger stuck up in the air.

I asked my young teenage grandson in the back seat what that meant.

He said it was probably a Hawaiian good luck sign or something.

Well, I have never met anyone from Hawaii , so I leaned out the window and gave him the good luck sign right back.

My grandson burst out laughing.

Why even he was enjoying this religious experience!!

A couple of the people were so caught up in the joy of the moment that they got out of their cars and started walking towards me.

I bet they wanted to pray or ask what church I attended, but this is when I noticed the light had changed.

So, grinning, I waved at all my brothers and sisters, and drove on through the intersection.

I noticed that I was the only car that got through the intersection before the light changed again and felt kind of sad that I had to leave them after all the love we had shared.

So I slowed the car down, leaned out the window and gave them all the Hawaiian good luck sign one last time as I drove away. Praise the Lord for such wonderful folks!!

Will write again soon,

Love, Grandma

In opposition to mutations, modifications are included in the band width of the genomeof an individual creature. Modifications are dependent on theplentifulness of the substrate, light, warmths, stress, training, andso on. A modification is a change in the physical appearance of an organism(phenotype) caused by environmental factors. Modifications are notinheritable as they do not affect the genes.
